The First Central Asia Gas ForumThe First Central Asia Gas Forum was held on 25-26th of June 2014 in Kazakhstan, Almaty. This event became the unique opportunity for experts to discuss the problems and perspectives in the sphere of gas production, processing and distribution ion the territory of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Among the participants, there were not only Central Asian region countries but also representatives of gas sphere of China, the EU, Azerbaijan, Russia, India, Iran and other countries. More than 200 delegates took part in the Forum and more than 25 interesting and useful reports were presented to the guests during two-day work session. SVAP-MTZK Consortium became the silver sponsor of the event. Ruslan Zakirov, the Head of Marketing Department, has made the report “Innovative technologies of integrated pipelines protection” on the half of our organization. Significant gas resources determine high interest of world countries to the Central Asia, in particular, to the issues of oil and gas production and pipelines construction. The key states of the region in gas recourses quantity are considered Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. These countries are the participants of many pipeline projects and became the focus of world attention. The Central Asia Gas Forum became the great opportunity for experience, knowledge and information sharing as well as business networking.
