BT SVAP LLC took part in the International specialized exhibition “Import substitution” which started at the international exhibition centre “Crocus Expo” on September 15, 2015. The main objective of the event is to find solutions for production of competitive goods and services by improving domestic production and refocusing on new foreign suppliers. The exhibition is officially supported by the Government of RF.

According to D.V. Manturov, minister for industry and trade, “the exhibition is the largest professional forum aimed to gather representatives of expert community, science, business and government authorities to discuss import substitution issues.

Participants and visitors of the event were able to:

• discuss prospects of import substitution in diverse economy fields
• share experience in production of new goods
• make acquaintances necessary for promotion of new products on the market
• have a look at most interesting advanced technologies
• demonstrate Russian companies’ capacities to produce competitive goods and services.

More than 250 companies have participated in the event. Products of foreign business partners (Belarus, Tunisia, Slovenia and others) were also available at the exhibition.

Participant-companies specialize almost in all field of modern economy: building, oil and gas industry, medicine and pharmaceutics, foodstuff and consumer goods industry, machine engineering, metal industry, woodworking and others.

Exhibition agenda includes plenary meetings and roundtable discussion regarding various issues connected with the subject of the event and reports from representatives of federal and regional authorities, many Russian ministries, Academy of Science.
